Two people, a rented room, and a stack of manila folders.
Remindbot is owned by Mara Ellison and Niles Park. We rent Suite 2B at 414 West Tilghman Street, above Park & Sons Printing. There is no reception. The door at the top of the stairs is the one with the brass 2B.

Item 01
Who keeps the desk
Mara Ellison
Mara spent eleven years as the front-desk scheduler at a family clinic on Union Boulevard. She got tired of patients missing the refill window, and of her own parking tickets on Hamilton Street — three in one week, October 2022. She still answers the phone here, weekdays, in the hours posted on the home sheet.
Niles Park
Niles kept the books at his brother’s print shop downstairs and wrote the first scheduler on evenings in 2022, originally as a list that printed on leftover card stock. He still walks the quarterly digest down the stairs on the last Friday of March, June, September, and December.
Item 02
Why it exists
The product is the product. We do not run a marketplace, a social feed, or a coaching program. If Remindbot does not suit you, a paper planner and a kitchen timer still work; we keep both on the desk.
We built this because the reminders we needed were not “tomorrow at 9.” They were “while the counter is still open,” “the Tuesday after a holiday,” “two days before the due date, then the morning of, and not after they lock the lot.”
Staff: two. Contractors: one accountant in Bethlehem, and the printer downstairs for the digest. We have not taken outside investment. We would rather stay small than explain a dashboard to a board.
Niles still stamps the digest run by hand
Item 03
Shop log, abbreviated
Oct 2022
Mara collects three parking tickets in seven days. Niles prints a joke “notice of missed hours” on scrap card. It is not a joke for long.
Mar 2023
First twenty households, all people who already knew one of us. Email only. The windows feature is a spreadsheet column.
Nov 2023
We start sending text copies from a 610 number. Quiet hours are added after a 1:10 a.m. furnace-filter ping that nobody needed.
Apr 2024
Household lists, three people max. We refuse a fourth because the arguments about who was supposed to call stop being funny at four.
Jan 2025
Paper digest begins, printed downstairs. Some people pin it to the fridge and that is the entire relationship they want with us, which is fine.
Sep 2026
Rates unchanged for a second year: $0 / $4 / $8. This sheet is the public notice.
Weekdays 9:30–4:00 Eastern, Friday until 1:00. We close the week of Christmas and the afternoon of the Allentown Fair’s opening day. If you come up the stairs, knock; we do not keep a bell.
